The new fiscal year has started with the cherry blossoms in full bloom this year, and on April 3, RENGO, the central organization of labor unions, announced the results of the third round of tabulation concerning this year's Spring Struggle. According to the results, the average wage increase was 5.42%, 0.18 percentage points higher than the same period last year . This is the second consecutive year that wages have exceeded 5%, with particularly large increases seen in the service industry, where wage increases had been stagnant during last year's Spring Struggle. The major factors behind this full-scale wage increase are considered to be the labor shortage and rising prices. As a result, competition to secure excellent human resources will intensify in the future.

Let's now take a look at the trends among "Global Talent in March 2025" and see how the landscape has evolved.
