The year 2025 is fast approaching and it is already February. Our annual "Relationship between English Proficiency and Annual Salary(The article is in Japanese only.)" was released late last month. According to our findings, over 75% of candidates scouted by companies had English skills equivalent to business conversation or higher. The most significant difference was observed among women in their 50s, with a 1.9x increase (+¥3.01 million) in salary. Roles in the "Finance" sector showed the largest salary disparity, with a 1.4x increase (+¥2.08 million) based on English proficiency. Similarly, "Customer Service" roles exhibited a 1.4x increase (+¥1.15 million), highlighting the critical role of English proficiency in career advancement.

Month-on-Month Surge: Overall, there was a notable uptick, with "Creative" (+37.3%), "Planning/Marketing/PR" (+27.3%), "IT" (+22.5%), "Electrical/Mechanical" (+22.2%), and Administrative roles (+21.7%) experiencing a 20%+ surge. However, the previously active "Sales" sector saw a slowdown (-10.4%) compared to the previous month.

Additionally, "Finance/Insurance/Real Estate" (+48.1%) and "Service/Retail" (+36.3%) sectors landed with a substantial increase of over 30%.
