Today, on August 7th (Wednesday) as we write this article, it marks the beginning of Risshū, the official start of autumn in the Japanese calendar. While the hot days continue, it's officially autumn. Even amidst this heat, with the extended summer vacation period, we are seeing a significant influx of foreign visitors to Japan. According to the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), the number of inbound visitors in June reached 3,135,600, showing an increase of 51.2% compared to the same month last year and 8.9% compared to June 2019. At our company, just like last year, we have designated a special "Hospitality Industry" job area for our Career Fair scheduled for September 2024, and we are delighted to see numerous companies confirming their participation.

Now, let's delve into the trends of "Global Talent" in July 2024.

July continued the trend of overall increased activity from the previous month. One of the reasons for this increase can be attributed to the receipt of summer bonuses, leading many job seekers to continue their job search. During the summer break, individuals often dedicate time to self-analysis, resume writing, and cover letter crafting. Monitor the movements of job seekers this summer and leverage these insights for your upcoming strategic planning.
